Pastor Simeon L. Corum was born in Washington, D.C. Pastor Corum attended the University of the District of Columbia in Washington DC and majored in Communications and Psychology. Pastor Corum received an Honorary Doctorate from the Breakthrough Bible College in August 2013, he went on to complete his Associates degree, and his Masters in Theology. He is an anointed pastor, preacher, teacher, worshiper, prayer warrior and a strong prophetic grace of God is upon his life to minister to the body of Christ. The mantle of healing and deliverance is upon his life for such a time as this. Pastor Corum was baptized and filled with the Spirit of God at the age of 24 and served for over 21 years as a deacon, minister, elder and church administrator under the tutelage of the late Apostle C.L. Long. He is a passionate minister with a heart for souls. Growing up in the northwest Washington, DC area, Pastor Corum was involved in the entertainment field where drug- abuse, alcoholism, crime and juvenile delinquency ran rampant. Seeing many of his peers destroyed by the "streets" and the destruction of sin has made him determined to bring the life-changing power of the “Word of God” to the oppressed and down-trodden. Pastor Corum ministers with relentless faith that God delivers His people and is ever present and working in their lives in all situations. He realize, having been snatched from the clutches of natural and spiritual death, he is persuaded that God uses circumstances to reveal His character of healing, deliverance, and blessings to the body of Christ.
In 2004, Pastor Corum was sent to pastor with his wife and three children in Alexandria, VA and is now currently pasturing in Forestville, Maryland; where he is the senior pastor of the Goshen Worship Center Church. Pastor favorite scripture: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, ‘for thy sake we are killed all the daylong’ we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter”. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creation shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Pastor Corum has been married to Co-Pastor Joanne Corum for over 33 years. They are the proud parents of three gifted children; Ashley , Simeon Jr., Jahmal and three beautiful grandchildren, Elijah, MacKenzie Corum, and Shiloh Corum-Lawson.
